Two senior personnel changes were made at the national bank regulator, the agency said Monday, overseeing its information technology (IT) policies and personnel in one position and large and foreign bank operations in the other.
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) said Megan Crespi will be senior deputy comptroller (SDC) for technology and information services. The agency said she would oversee the OCC’s information technology, information security, artificial intelligence (AI) and data governance policies, procedures, and personnel.
Crespi joins the regulator from a position as a senior executive vice president and chief operating officer of a large financial institution. The OCC did not name the institution in a release. She has also served as a chief technology officer and consultant (although the firms were not named).
Meanwhile, Jennifer Crosthwaite, who has been serving as an acting deputy comptroller at the agency for large and global financial institutions (LGFI), will now serve as acting SDC for LGFI, the agency said. She fills a position left by the retirement of Greg Coleman, the OCC said. In her new role, the regulator said Crosthwaite will direct the supervision of banks with assets of more than $500 billion and those institutions that have a foreign parent.
A 42-year veteran of the agency, Crosthwaite received her national bank examiner commission in 1988, relocating to San Francisco after serving in Southern California. She served as the capital markets team lead, the enterprise risk management team lead and the examiner-in-charge at several of the largest institutions supervised by the OCC, the agency said. She was named a senior national bank examiner in October 2025.
