Credit union regulator delays monthly May meeting by one week

An additional week will go by before the federal credit union regulator meets in May, the agency announced Tuesday but without providing any details why.

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board said it has rescheduled the meeting of its three-member board from May 16 to May 23. The meeting start time remains at 10 a.m.

The meeting will be only the second time in about three years that the board has met with a full complement of three members; new Chairman Rodney E. Hood and new Board Member Todd M. Harper joined the board just this week. They and current Board Member (and recently Chairman) J. Mark McWatters are scheduled to hold the first meeting of the full board next week (April 18) in Alexandria, Va., at agency headquarters. The agenda for that meeting will likely be released Thursday afternoon.
