Two directors workshops focusing on credit risk and operational risk are scheduled in Orlando, Fla., Sept. 13 and 14, the agency said Monday.
The workshops, hosted by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), are intended for directors, senior management, and other key executives of national community banks and federal savings associations, the agency said.
The Sept. 13 workshop, “Credit Risk: Directors Can Make a Difference,” covers the roles of the board and management, credit risk within the loan portfolio, and how to stay informed of changes in credit risk, the OCC said. The Sept. 14 workshop, “Operational Risk: Navigating Rapid Changes,” covers key risk management processes, oversight roles and governance responsibilities, fraud, risk-based audit programs, and cyber threats.
The workshop fee is $99 per person and limited to the first 25 registrants. The OCC said participants receive course materials, supervisory materials, and lunch.
