National bank regulator revises 3 licensing manual booklets

Three booklets from the Comptroller’s Licensing Manual have been revised and replace earlier ones issued in January 2017 and October 2019, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) said in a bulletin Thursday.

The three revised booklets – “General Policies and Procedures,” “Management Interlocks,” and “Public Notice and Comments” – apply to all national banks, federal savings associations, and federal branches and agencies of foreign banking organizations, the bulletin states.

The changes, among others, include those reflecting recent updates to 12 CFR 5 (Rules, Policies, and Procedures for Corporate Activities) and other regulations; and remove references to outdated guidance.
