The federal bank deposit insurer on Aug. 1 terminated the receiverships of United Security Bank, Sparta, Ga., and Town Community Bank & Trust, Antioch, Ill., the agency said in a notice for the Federal Register.
The state-chartered United Security Bank was closed in November 2009 and its deposits assumed by Ameris Bank, Moultrie, Ga. Town Community Bank & Trust, also state-chartered, was closed in January 2010 and its deposits assumed by First American Bank, Elk Grove Village, Ill.
