FDIC to release banks’ mid-year financial results

Banks’ mid-year financial results will be released Thursday, according to the federal insurer of deposits in the institutions. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) said it expects to release second-quarter 2019 results (that is, those as of June 30) on Thursday. The release of the results is typically accompanied by a press event featuring Board Chairman Jelena McWilliams, although the agency has not yet scheduled an event. According to the FDIC, quarterly banking financial results are published approximately 55 days after the end of each quarter (i.e., 55 days after March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31).
