A workshop on the roles and responsibilities of directors and senior management at national community banks and federal savings associations (FSAs) will be held in New York City this July by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the agency announced Friday.
Titled “The Building Blocks: Keys to Success for Directors and Senior Management,” the workshop will be held July 9-10 at the OCC’s Northeastern District Office. It’s open to directors, senior management team members, and other key executives of national community banks and FSAs that are supervised by the OCC.
Taught by OCC supervision staff, the workshop will provide practical information on the roles and responsibilities of board participation, the agency said. Topics include duties and core responsibilities of directors and management, major laws and regulations, and the examination process.
The workshop fee is $99; participation is limited to the first 35 registrants.
