FDIC updates consumer compliance exam manual

Updates to violation codes, Truth in Lending Act (TILA) thresholds, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) loan-volume thresholds and more are reflected in the July iteration of the federal bank deposit insurer’s Consumer Compliance Examination Manual (CEM).

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) released the updates in an email to subscribers. Other changes include updated Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) thresholds and removal of a CRA reference in one section of the manual dealing with informal enforcement actions.
