Seven members were selected to serve three-year terms on a panel that provides information and advice to the Federal Reserve Board on domestic and international insurance issues, the Fed announced Thursday.
The seven members include four new members and three who were reappointed. The panel, the Insurance Policy Advisory Committee (IPAC), was created in 2018 under the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act (EGRRCPA). It has 21 members who serve staggered terms, with seven members appointed each year.
The four new members are:
- Marjon Ghasemi, Corporate General Counsel, First American Financial Corporation
- Dom Lebel, Chief Risk Officer, Protective Life Corporation
- Randy Termeer, President, Property & Casualty Insurance Group, USAA
- Peter Tian, Group Treasurer, Equitable Holdings
The three reappointed members are:
- Martin Hansen, Head of Regulatory Policy, Liberty Mutual
- Steve Jackson, Director of Research, American Academy of Actuaries
- Kristin Ricc, Partner, Oliver Wyman
