No new data items are included in its latest call report forms released Thursday, the federal bank deposit insurance agency said, but new multifactor authorization (MFA) is being added, the agency said.
According to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC), call report forms for Sept. 30 are available for printing and downloading from the Federal Financial Institution Exam Council’s (FFIEC) reporting forms webpage for each version of the call report (FFIEC 031, FFIEC 041 or FFIEC 051). The forms may also be retrieved from the FDIC’s Bank Financial Reports webpage, the agency said.
Completed reports, submitted electronically, are due by Oct. 30 to its Central Data Repository (CDR), the FDIC added.
This quarter, the FDIC said, the FFIEC is adding MFA to the CDR application for submitting reports. The agency said MFA was added to “enhance and implement baseline security requirements for federal information systems.”
“In August 2025, notifications were sent from the CDR to all users (both bank and other public users of the CDR) with updated login instructions,” the FDIC said. “On August 25, 2025, on a phased-in basis that will continue into the fourth quarter of 2025, users began receiving email invitations from invites@microsoft.com with a link to accept the invitation and register for MFA.”
