A 41-year veteran of the national bank regulator is now a “senior national bank examiner” for her agency, the agency said late Wednesday.
Jennifer Crosthwaite was bestowed the designation by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). According to the agency, the designation “recognizes examiners who have distinguished themselves through high-quality performance as field examiners, serving as subject matter experts and acting as trusted advisors on highly complex and technical bank supervision issues.”
Crosthwaite joined the agency in 1984 and became a national bank examiner in 1988, the OCC said. She has worked in the agency’s community bank, regional and midsize financial institution, and large and global financial institution sections, the OCC said. She has also served as the capital markets team lead and enterprise risk management team lead for some of the largest institutions supervised by the OCC, according to the agency. Since 2021, She has been the OCC’s Examiner-in-Charge at Wells Fargo Bank, the OCC said.
