OCC shows 102 banks slated for CRA exams in Q4 2025, Q1 2026

A total of 102 national banks and federal savings associations are slated for their anti-redlining Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) evaluations over the final quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, according to their federal regulator.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) released a list Wednesday showing banks across 29 states slated for the exams, with the largest numbers being in Texas (16), Illinois (12), and Minnesota (10).

The OCC notes the 1977 CRA encourages banks to help meet the credit needs of the communities where they are chartered to do business, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods and consistent with safe and sound operations. The agency said it encourages public comment on CRA-related activities of those being reviewed.
