CFPB’s community bank panel to meet April 30

A public meeting of its Community Bank Advisory Council (CBAC) is slated for April 30 from 1-3:30 p.m. Eastern, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) said in a notice posted online and in Tuesday’s Federal Register.

The bureau said the meeting will be held virtually, with discussion to focus on “broad policy matters related to the Bureau’s Unified Regulatory Agenda and general scope of authority.” A detailed agenda will be posted on the agency’s website April 29, it said.

Members of the public will receive the agenda and dial-in information when they RSVP, the agency said. It said written comments will also be accepted and should be sent to CFPB_CABandCouncilsEvents@cfpb.gov at least seven days ahead of the meeting.
