FDIC economic inclusion panel to meet June 28; CRA, residential property valuation on agenda

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) Advisory Committee on Economic Inclusion is set to to hold a public meeting from 1-5 p.m. ET on June 28, according to a notice in Monday’s Federal Register.

At the meeting, viewable by webcast, the committee “will provide advice and recommendations on initiatives to expand access to banking services by underserved populations,” according to the notice.

Agenda items in the notice include committee members’ updates on key challenges facing their communities or organizations; panel discussions on the interagency proposed rule to modernize Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) requirements; and issues of equity in residential property valuation and appraisal.
