MDI advisory body for OCC set to meet April 26

The national bank regulator’s Minority Depository Institutions (MDI) Advisory Committee is scheduled to hold a virtual public meeting April 26, according to a Federal Register notice slated for publication Tuesday.

The aim of the meeting, according to the notice, is for the MCIAC to advise the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) on what steps the agency might be able to take “to ensure the continued health and viability of minority depository institutions and other issues of concern to minority depository institutions.” Agenda items will include current topics of interest to the industry, the agency said.

The meeting is slated for 1 p.m. Eastern. Members of the public may submit written statements to the MDIAC by email to: MDIAC@OCC.treas.gov.
