NCUA conserves $4.2 million-in-assets CA credit union

The federal regulator of credit unions on Friday placed the tiny Pomona Postal Federal Credit Union of Pomona, Calif., into conservatorship Friday.

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) said the credit union’s most recent call report shows it had 717 members and $4.2 million in assets. It serves people working for the Pomona Post Office, located in Pomona, Calif., it said. NCUA data show the institution was chartered in 1964. September data show it had about a 51% loan-to-share ratio.
