Credit union regulator slates webinar on AML/BSA compliance

An April 14 webinar on compliance with anti-money laundering laws and regulations affecting credit unions has been scheduled by their federal regulator, the agency said Thursday.

The event, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) said, aims to provide updates on recently issued anti-money laundering/Bank Secrecy Act (AML/BSA) statements. It will also outline actions for managing high-risk accounts and highlights of the 2020 Anti-Money Laundering Act.

The webinar is slated to start at 2 p.m. ET and last about an hour. Participants may also submit questions in advance via email (to WebinarQuestions@ncua.gov; the agency said the email’s subject line should read, “BSA Update.”)
