OCC’s MDI advisory panel to meet April 13

The Minority Depository Institutions Advisory Committee (MDIAC) for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is scheduled to hold a public meeting April 13 via webinar, according to a notice for the Federal Register.

The committee advises the OCC on steps the regulator may be able to take to ensure MDIs’ the continued health and viability and other issues of concern to MDIs. The April 13 meeting is slated for 1 p.m. ET.

The notice states that members of the public may submit written statements to the MDIAC by email to MDIAC@OCC.treas.gov; statements must be received no later than 5 p.m. ET on April 6. Members of the public who plan to attend the meeting via webinar should contact the OCC by 5 p.m. ET April 6 to inform the OCC of their desire to do so and to obtain information about participation via webinar. To do that, send an email to MDIAC@OCC.treas.gov or call (212) 790-4001; attendees should provide their full name, email address, and organization (if any).
