The “forward” booklet explaining the organization, format, and process for revising portions of the Comptroller’s Handbook containing examiner guidance has been updated to rescind the version published in May 2019, according to a bulletin issued Monday.
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) said the updated booklet clarifies the OCC’s methods for identifying updated content in Comptroller’s Handbook booklets; revises content for consistency with the Examination Process series of Comptroller’s Handbook booklets; and includes information about the OCC’s adoption of interagency examination procedures and Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council handbooks and manuals.
