Three bank receiverships terminated by FDIC

Receiverships of three federally insured, state-chartered banks – one each in Arizona, Michigan, and Georgia – were terminated Nov. 1 by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC).

The FDIC, in a notice slated for Federal Register publication, said it has fulfilled its obligations as receiver and made all required dividend distributions. The receiverships terminated were for Towne Bank of Arizona, Mesa, Ariz. (closed May 7, 2010); New Liberty Bank, Plymouth, Mich. (closed May 14, 2010); and Satilla Community Bank, Saint Marys, Ga. (also closed May 14, 2010).
