FDIC terminates receivership of WI bank

The receivership of North Milwaukee State Bank, Milwaukee, Wis., was terminated May 1, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) said in a notice for the Federal Register.

North Milwaukee State Bank, with reportedly $67.1 million in total assets and $61.5 million in total deposits as of Dec. 31, 2015, was closed in March 2016 and its deposits and assets disposed of in a purchase-and-assumption agreement with First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company, Raleigh, N.C.
