A webinar aimed at increasing awareness among the general public of the benefits of federal deposit and share insurance – particularly during the coronavirus crisis – will be held jointly Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. ET by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), the agencies said Monday.
During the webinar, “Your Money is Safe at a Federally Insured Financial Institution,“ FDIC and NCUA representatives will share tools, tip sheets, and other resources that can help consumers manage their household finances during this crisis, an how to recognize potential fraud and scams,” the agencies said.
Registration is free, and participants will be able to submit questions.
