Workshop offers ‘keys to success’ for bank directors, senior managers

Keys to success for bank and thrift directors and senior managers is the topic for a two-day workshop in Miami starting March 31 hosted by the federal regulator of national banks.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) said in a release that the program provides lectures, discussion, and exercises to provide practical information on the roles and responsibilities of board participation. Topics include duties and core responsibilities of directors and management, major laws and regulations, and the examination process.

The program – held at the Even Hotel (Miami Airport) March 31 to April 1 – is geared to directors, senior management and other key executives of banks and federal savings associations supervised by the OCC. Cost is $99 (including materials and lunch); attendance is limited to the first 35 individuals who register.
