Federal appraisal panel to take up IL appraiser program compliance review

A compliance review of Illinois’ real estate appraiser program is slated for discussion and action Feb. 12 during an open meeting of the federal panel that oversees state appraiser certification programs.

The meeting of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC) is scheduled to begin at 10:45 ET in Washington; the panel will hold preliminary discussion of the Illinois program during a 10 a.m. closed session.

Also slated Feb. 12 is action on a budget reprograming request for fiscal 2019 ASC grants and on minutes from the panel’s November and December meetings. A report on delegated state compliance reviews is also scheduled.

The Feb. 12 meeting will be held in the Samuel J. Heyman Board Room of the Partnership for Public Service, 1100 New York Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. 20005. Those interested in attending have until close of business Feb. 7 to register by email (to meetings@asc.gov).
