Fed chair to provide economic outlook before joint economic committee Nov. 13

“The economic outlook” will be the topic for Federal Reserve Board Chair Jerome H. (“Jay”) Powell in testimony scheduled for Nov. 13 before the congressional Joint Economic Committee, the committee said Monday.

Powell’s testimony before the committee – chaired by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) – is set to get underway at 11 a.m. ET, in 216 Hart Senate Office Building. Vice chair of the joint committee (made up of senators and U.S. representatives) is Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.).
