OCC ‘Building Blocks’ workshop slated next month in Nashville

A workshop for directors, senior management team members, and other key executives of national community banks and federal savings associations that will focus on board participation is slated Sept. 24-25 in Nashville, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) said in a release Thursday.

The “Building Blocks: Keys to Success for Directors and Senior Management” workshop combines lectures, discussion, and exercises to provide practical information on the roles and responsibilities of board participation. Topics include duties and core responsibilities of directors and management, major laws and regulations, and the examination process.

The fee for this OCC-hosted workshop is $99. The workshop, held at the Spring Hill Suites Nashville Downtown, is limited to the first 35 registrants.
