Fed Board poised to meet Thursday in closed session

A closed meeting of the Federal Reserve Board is slated for 10:15 a.m. ET Thursday. The board is “tentatively” scheduled to consider a review of board publications related to financial markets.

The board had been scheduled to meet this Monday, also in closed session, to consider advance and discount rates to be paid by the Federal Reserve Banks, but it lacked a quorum and did not take action. In its notice of change, the Fed said those present were briefed on bank supervision issues.
