Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) Chairman Jelena McWilliams will hold a press briefing this Thursday to announce bank and thrift industry earnings for the second quarter of 2018, the agency said Monday.
The Thursday briefing, set for 10:30 a.m. ET, will be held at FDIC headquarters in Washington (550 17th St., N.W.), and it will be webcast live. A brief Q&A session will follow McWilliams’ remarks on industry earnings, which will be detailed with other data in the agency’s latest Quarterly Banking Profile.
