Fed revises holding company report forms

The Federal Reserve Board on July 25 approved a revision and three-year renewal of its Financial Statements for Holding Companies, the FR Y-9 family of reports. The Fed issued a notice and request for comments on this in April. One commenter sought clarifications and made suggestions; these were incorporated into the final versions of the forms. The Fed made the revisions effective as of this June 30.

The various reports are submitted quarterly and semiannually. Reporters include bank holding companies, savings and loan holding companies, securities holding companies, and U.S. intermediate holding companies. The notice of renewal is due to appear in the Federal Register Tuesday.
