Randal Quarles sworn in to full term on Fed Board

Randal K. Quarles being sworn in to Federal Reserve Board term lasting through January 2032.

Federal Reserve Board Vice Chairman for Supervision Randal K. Quarles was sworn in to a 14-year term as a member of the board Monday. The oath of office was administered by Fed Chairman Jerome (“Jay”) Powell in the Board Room.

Quarles has served as a Fed Board member since Oct. 13, 2017, to fill a term that expired this January. He was confirmed to his second term by the Senate on July 17. His term as a board member ends Jan. 31, 2032, and his term as vice chairman for supervision ends Oct. 13, 2021.
