The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) on Wednesday released its schedule of bank examinations under the anti-redlining Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) for the third and fourth quarters of 2018. The first are scheduled for July.
“The OCC encourages public comment on the national banks and federal savings associations scheduled to be evaluated under the CRA,” the agency said in a release. It asks that comments be submitted before or as early as possible during the month when exams are scheduled. Comments can be submitted to the institutions themselves at the mailing addresses listed on the schedule, or to the appropriate OCC supervisory office.
“The OCC will consider all public comments received prior to the close of the CRA evaluation,” the agency says.
