Directors, and more, can learn more about board participation at Los Angeles session in May

Directors, senior management team members and other key executives of national banks and federal savings associations are the focus of an early May workshop to be held in Los Angeles and hosted by their federal regulator.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is hosting the two-day workshop May 1-2 in Glendale, Calif., at the Hilton Los Angeles North/Glendale hotel. The workshop is one of 25 the agency will offer in 2018 for national community bank and federal savings association directors.

The agenda for the workshop (led by OCC supervision staff) focuses on duties and core responsibilities of directors and management, major laws and regulations, and familiarity with the examination process.

Cost is $99 (includes course materials, publications, and the Dictionary of Banking Terms. Participation is limited to the first 35 registrants.
