Comment deadlines for 3 consumer bureau RFIs extended 30 days

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is extending the public comment deadlines for three of its requests for information (RFIs) under a call for evidence regarding the bureau’s proper execution of its consumer protection function. The extended deadlines are scheduled for publication Thursday in the Federal Register.

The new deadlines: are

  • April 26, regarding the RFI on CFPB investigative demands and associated processes
  • May 7, regarding the RFI on rules of practice for adjudication proceedings
  • May 14, regarding the RFI on bureau enforcement processes
